Scroll depth as a living diagram

Scroll depth is not a single scalar—it is the trace of how readers move through vertical rhythm. We layer gentle heat strips with exit annotations so teams can agree on what to test next without rehearsing the same debate.

Attention heatmap

Bands show dwell, not clicks. Cooler regions are not “bad”—they may be transitions. We label component boundaries so designers know which frame owns each temperature shift.

Exit-point report

Exit clusters list where sessions end relative to modules—not who failed. Each row links to a ticket template so engineering and editorial share the same sentence in Jira or Linear.

Cluster A

Readers leave after the third inline promo—embed weight suspected.

Cluster B

Long pause on glossary drawer—copy length fine, affordance unclear.

Cluster C

Mobile bounce before comments—layout shift after ad slot.

Studio desk

Visit by appointment. We keep Friday mornings open for walkthroughs of scroll-depth boards.
